Dundee United Strikers are a premier girls team dedicated to competitive play and competition at the highest level. At the cornerstone of our teams development, we focus on two main areas; FOOTSKILLS and FINISHING.

We are a travel team who annually participates in an average of 6 travel tournaments per year. The DU Strikers play year round soccer and are for girls who are looking to make soccer a priority in their lives. Our girls focus their efforts on soccer and use other sports as a way to keep in shape and have fun on a less competitive field.

We have a great history: In the Fall 2007 Season, the Strikers finished with an 8-2 record scoring 20 goals (average 2 per game) while defensively only giving up 8 (less then 1 per game)! This past fall only capped an outstanding 2007 for the Strikers who went 16-3-1 in 2 outdoor leagues. Combined goals were 53 scored with only 22 against. The Strikers currently play in the Illinois Women Soccer League (IWSL) “B” division and look forward to an exciting challenge this Spring 2008.

DU Strikers draw players from towns surrounding Dundee, such as: Elgin, Algonquin, Crystal Lake and Gilberts. Although The Strikers have a highly dedicated core group of girls who have been together for over 4 years we are always looking to add players with equal commitment to the sport.

Bruce Erbeck who has an International B license and who has coached club and college soccer for over 15 years coaches the Strikers. He has taken club teams to state competitions as well as regional and national events. His passion to develop players is second to none as is his dedication to soccer excellence.
